Tis the season for sharing your hand crocheted goodness with friends and family; adding a label makes your gift look even prettier. The smaller label fits one crocheted dishcloth or use the wider labels for a bundle of two or three dishcloths, a hat or scarf. I print on sturdy brown kraft paper (cut to 8.5x11 from a roll) or lightweight cardstock and then trim with my rotary cutter and quilting ruler. A paper cutter or good ole scissors work too. ** Select full bleed or borderless if your printer will allow. ** This will give you lines right to the edge of the paper. Happy Crochet! Just in case you have an urgent need to enhance your wrinkles in time for Halloween (or add another potion jar to your apothecary) I have made a printable label for you. This fit perfectly on a maple syrup jar filled with water, drop or two of vanilla, and a dash of green food colouring. My free labels are for personal use only. Light commercial use is included with my purchased labels. If you love to crochet and love Halloween you too need a Halloween lap blanket. I used this wonderful free pattern that I found on trusty Pinterest. It is a pattern that is easy enough for a beginner crochet queen and you can work the stripes in any way you choose. Bonita gives it two thumbs up. CLICK HERE FOR PATTERN 48" x 56" I made my blanket a bit larger than the pattern size, but it is easy to make any size you like with the instructions on the pattern. I used Bernat Premium yarn, in black, dark and medium grey, and cream, available at Walmart. I used Red Heart Super Saver in carrot, also from Walmart. If I remember correctly I used two skeins each of black and dark grey and one each of the others. I used the light grey for a simple picot edging. Happy Halloween Crochet! It's been about a year since we finished my garden shed and it makes me even happier than I imagined. Sitting on the patio and looking at it or sitting on it's porch with the bees and birds busy around me. We added a small flower bed this spring and divided plants from other beds to fill it. I am anxious to get busy on the interior... ...
